Be Election Ready!

Here are three easy steps to help you prepare for Election Day:

2.) Confirm your polling location, review a sample ballot, look at a candidate list and much more by visiting the Voter Information Portal at

3.) Know your options! Can't make it to the polls on Election Day? Consider voting early in the Clerk's Office now through Monday, November 3. (Poll close promptly at noon on November 3.)

Absentee Voting

There are several ways to vote by absentee. Click these links to learn more about voting by mail (application deadline Oct. 27), traveling board and in-person early voting.

Central Count of Absentee Ballots

New this year, Marion County was required by law to conduct a central count of all absentee ballots. Read the Election Board Staff Report on how this process went during the Primary election.
