Flood ordinance amendment
FEMA has released new flood plain maps effective April 19, 2016. Appropriate flood control standards must also be adopted to continue our participation in the National Flood Insurance Program. The draft amendment is available for review.
Draft Flood Amendment Proposal
The MDC will have a hearing on the amendments on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 9 am in Room 260 of the City-County Building and the City-County Council will conduct a hearing and vote on the matter at 7 pm.
