The Long Range Planning team works to strengthen the people and places of Indianapolis-Marion County by serving as a strategic planning resource for city government and our neighborhoods. We do this by coordinating partners and stakeholders while serving as the catalyst in planning activities related to land use, transportation, parks, resiliency, and neighborhood housing—elements of the Comprehensive Plan for Indianapolis and Marion County. The team also supports a wide array of special planning and visioning initiatives within city government and in collaboration with community partners.
